Tender Engineer / Tender Manager (m/f/d)

 

Your tasks:

 

  • Manage customer tenders and responses to customer requests and tenders according to agreed deadlines incl.:
    • Developing bid concepts, incl. time schedule and resource estimation
    • Structuring bid tactics and monitoring tender process and deadlines
    • Preparing technical proposals and commercial offers in close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Engineering, QHSE, Operations, Recruiting, Con-trolling and with external parties such as legal firms, subcontractors, and bidding partners
    • Setting up calculations and project budgets
    • Flagging any challenges or risks to the appropriate stakeholders within the ten-der process and initiate corrective actions where necessary
  • Constantly strive to improve both process and bids to ensure a maximum competitiveness in the bidding phase
  • Review and revise documents sent by client, prepared by internal stakeholders, and coordinate the preparation of these materials
  • Monitor tender platforms and identify business opportunities

 

Your profile:

 

  • Academic Degree in Engineering, Logistics alternatively Business Administration with work experience as price calculator, bid manager or similar
  • Proven track record in setting up complex calculations and project budgets
  • Experience in evaluating and analysing client tenders
  • Ability to derive and structure work packages for internal stakeholders based on client’s tenders or inquiries
  • Experience in development of bid concepts and proposal writing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and in German
  • Experiences in the Offshore Wind industry is preferable, but is not a must
  • Attention to detail and structured approach
  • Ability to keep deadlines even under pressure without compromising quality
  • Strong project management skills – the ability to apply project management disciplines to achieve successful delivery within agreed parameters of timescale and quality
