To strengthen our team in Hamburg we are currently searching for a

 

Project Engineer & Product Manager – Operation & Maintenance (m/f/d)

 

to join us as in November/December 2021.

 

 

Your tasks & responsibilities:

 

  • You are the focal point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to the service segment O&M
    • Definition and/or optimization of the service portfolio segment O&M in line with the company vision (in cooperation with Management)
    • Monitoring market development relevant for the business segment and attend relevant business events – also as a speaker
    • Constant updating and development of the service portfolio O&M (webpage/social media/ presentations)
    • Identification of potential targets for cooperation and of potential new clients/projects
    • Coaching Sales, Business Development and Project Managers on service Portfolio of the Business Segment
    • Liaising with external partners and market participants on all aspects of the business segment
    • Accompanying Sales, Business Development, Project Managers in client and acquisition meetings as Expert

 

  • You contribute to our projects – either as Project Manager or as O&M Expert
    • Preparation, scheduling, coordination and monitoring of the technical work package of projects
    • Preparation of technical documents for tenders and the preparation of offers
    • Carrying out quality controls on the work (budget, schedule, project plan, staff performance) and regular reports on the status of the project
    • Development of concepts, schedules, man mountains and method statements in the field of O&M
    • Technical evaluation of suppliers and subcontractors
    • Taking over offshore assignments as Field Engineer (m/f/d) or Client Representative (m/f/d)
    • Ensuring compliance with applicable standards, practices, QA/QC guidelines, performance standards and specifications

 

Your profile:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Experience in similar roles in the offshore wind industry including in-depth knowledge of O&M requirements and best practice
  • Understanding of project related business economics
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, holistic process thinking, organizational skills
  • Structured, result-oriented and independent way of working
  • Experience with project management methods (waterfall, Scrum) is desirable
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
  • High affinity for conceptual work
  • Self-motivated to follow market developments and news  
  • Willingness to travel, high level of commitment and initiative
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills
