Job Description
For the realization of the Offshore Wind Farm Yeu-Noirmoutier, France, we are currently searching for a
HV Controller (m/f/d)
to execute the operations in a 14/14 rotation model with possible offshore shifts until December 2026.
Your tasks:
- Monitor and operate the project's electrical network to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Coordinate, perform, oversee and authorize switching operations for electrical network operations
- Operate SCADA systems, monitor alarms and handle necessary measures for network control
- Ensure compliance with all local and national grid code requirements and provide reports to the Grid provider
- Communicate with stakeholders including the grid operator, project teams and contractors
- Ensure Wind Farm operates in optimized topology, adjusting settings and configurations as needed
- Coordinate Emergency Response and handle communication of planned/unplanned electrical outages
- Maintain documentation and update LV/MV/HV Single Line Diagrams for accurate network operation records
- Report commissioning progress, participate in meetings and collaborate with O&M teams
- Train and mentor junior control engineers and SAPs in HV switching operations and network management
Your profile:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HV operation and network management up to 225kV
- Previous experience as a Control Engineer, CCO or Senior Authorized Person for high-voltage systems
- Strong knowledge of HV/LV transmission networks, power systems and control & protections
- Qualified and authorized in electrical engineering with expertise in switching operations
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant electrical network software
- HTB accreditation according to NF C18-510: H1, H1V, H2, H2V, HC, HE Test, HE Maneuver, HE Verification
