Join the exciting OWF Baltic Power project as a
Senior Authorized Person (SAP) (m/f/d)
supporting the commissioning phase of this major offshore wind farm. This pivotal role ensures the safe operation and maintenance of high-voltage (HV) electrical systems during the commissioning and operational phases.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform and coordinate electrical activities, including remote and local switching operations.
- Guarantee electrical safety on-site by applying the 5 essential safety rules and following project-specific safety standards (BLP Wind Electrical Safety Rules).
- Approve and issue Permits to Work (PtWs) and oversee compliance with safety requirements.
- Create and execute switching schedules for operations and safe workplaces.
- Act as the Person in Control of the electrical installation and supervise related activities.
- Coordinate and communicate work scopes between control engineers, commissioning teams, and O&M personnel.
- Conduct pre-energization walkdowns and support system handover.
- Ensure proper LOTO (Lock-Out Tag-Out) procedures are followed.
- Input into the development of operational procedures and ensure safe HV workplace practices.
Your Profile:
- Extensive experience in HV commissioning, operations under electrical safety rules, safety documentation, and switching schedules
- Valid GWO offshore certifications
- Preferred: 66 kV, 230 kV, and 400 kV authorizations
- Familiarity with electrical regulations and WESR (Wind Electrical Safety Rules)
- Polish language skills and SEP qualifications are preferred but not required
- Fluent English language skills are a must-have
- A high level of attention to safety, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented approach.
Travel and Rotation Details:
- Contract Duration: Initial term of 18 months
- Q1 2025 – Q3 2025: Remote/Warsaw, with additional travel for training.
- From Q4 2025 – end of contract: 14-day rotation at the OWF Baltic Power site in northern Poland
