To strengthen our project team in Hamburg & remote, we are currently looking for a
Project Engineer (m/f/d) Structural & Geotechnical Design
Your tasks:
- Execution and monitoring of structural and geotechnical analyses for offshore projects
- Development and implementation of design solutions for offshore structures, considering geotechnical conditions
- Preparation and review of technical reports, plans, and specifications
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative and safe solutions for offshore structures
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
- Conducting site assessments and geotechnical investigations to ensure the load-bearing capacity and stability of structures
- Development of models and simulations to analyse loads and deformations of structures
- Monitoring and evaluation of construction execution as well as quality assurance and control on-site
- Advising project teams regarding geotechnical and structural aspects and risks
- Preparation of proposals and support in project acquisition
Your profile:
- Completed studies in civil engineering, geotechnics, structural engineering, naval architecture, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in structural and geotechnical engineering, ideally in the offshore industry
- In-depth knowledge in conducting geotechnical investigations and structural analyses
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German language skills would be beneficial
- Experience in preparing technical reports, plans, and specifications
- Familiarity with relevant standards, regulations, and norms in the offshore sector (DNV / Eurocode / IEC)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips and on-site assignments (mainly onshore)
- High level of initiative and the ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Passion for renewable energy and offshore wind projects
