Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Lead Marine Coordinator (m/f/d) OWF Baltic Power
to join our team on-site at the Marine Coordination Center for the Baltic Power Offshore Wind Farm in Łeba, Poland.
Your tasks:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the marine coordination team, acting as both mentor and operational lead
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for resolving complex marine coordination challenges
- Oversee and ensure the smooth coordination of project-related maritime traffic to support safe and efficient offshore operations
- Evaluate the suitability and compliance of chartered vessels with operational and safety requirements for offshore work
- Supervise the management of TETRA digital radio communications to ensure seamless connectivity among all stakeholders
- Review and approve work permits in alignment with safety and regulatory standards
- Lead and document daily vessel coordination calls with ship captains and offshore representatives
Your Profile:
- Proven experience in marine coordination, ideally within the offshore wind or energy sector
- Completed maritime education or a nautical qualification (e.g., Master 500GT or Nautical Watch Officer)
- Valid maritime radio certification (ROC/GOC)
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word; familiarity with ECDIS hardware is a plus
- Fluent in English; Polish language skills are a strong asset
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
