Job Description

For the realization of the Offshore Wind Farm Yeu-Noirmoutier, France, we are currently searching for a

OSS HV Senior Authorized Person (m/f/d)

to execute the operations offshore in a 14/14 rotation model as soon as possible until December 2026.

Your tasks: 

  • Perform power system operations and maintenance, including fault investigation and site reporting.
  • Prepare, review, and execute electrical switching protocols, including LOTO procedures.
  • Supervise and witness 66kV and 225kV commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, planning, and budget requirements.
  • Execute and control switching operations, acting as an Electrical Safety Officer (m/f/d) and responsible Senior Authorized Person (m/f/d).
  • Conduct site walk-downs, inspections, and audits of electrical network equipment, issuing relevant reports.
  • Perform 66kV/225kV switching activities and operate 66Kv/225kV equipment.
  • Develop and promote a strong electrical QHSE culture and ensure compliance with safety rules.
  • Mentor junior SAPs and O&M technicians (m/f/d) in HV switching operations.
  • Ensure quality issues are reported and outstanding work is completed, handling Punch List items.
  • Assist commissioning team with cross-package activities and facilitate the handover of works between installation, commissioning, and O&M.

Your profile:

  • Relevant educational background in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Strong experience in High Voltage network and equipment operation.
  • Excellent understanding of interlockings, control, and protection systems.
  • Experience as a Senior Authorized Person up to 225kV or in commissioning of network and systems up to 225kV.
  • Previous experience as an HV SAP or HV Commissioning Engineer on offshore wind farms is an advantage.
  • Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English; French is an advantage.
  • Ability to create excellent results through teamwork and develop good relationships with colleagues and external business partners.

Minimum training requirements:

  • Full GWO certification (First Aid, Sea Survival, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights).
  • Offshore Medical (AWMF, OGUK or similar).
  • Certified and authorized to operate equipment up to 225kV or more.
